Parent Service Hours

In order to keep costs down and provide assistance to the teachers and staff, GCDC asks families to volunteer for tasks and engagement opportunities throughout the year. The volunteer hours provide parents the opportunity to help their child’s class, as well as interact with the students and teachers in their classroom.

All enrolled families must complete 4 hours during the first semester (August-December), 4 hours during the second semester (January-June) and 2 hours during the summer (June-August). New opportunities are generally released at the beginning of each semester, but will also be added as needed throughout the school year, so please check back on occasion. 

GCDC charges $25 per unmet service hour.
